Good luck with your habit changes… I’m tackling my eating habits myself at the moment, and it’s not an easy area to successfully change, as there are so many knock-on behaviours that effect your chances.

It’s great that you have a positive consideration of things like parties, and not eating late – I always get thrown by these and sometimes it can take me a day or two to get back on track.

Thanks for the link shout-out, I appreciate it… I shall pop back soon to see how you’re getting on and how you’re finding the tracker idea.

I see that people who have the navigation on the bottom usually add two links: “skip to navigation” and “skip to content”.

That what I meant by several.

Reading and rereading your comments I get the feeling there is some misunderstanding on both sides. Adding “skip navigation” links is a good thing, I fully agree, when the navigation comes before the content. When I put content before navigation I don’t think it’s necessary.

What do you mean by “if you have a three column, you probably need to add several”?

Where can I find the w3c recommendation?

The “skip navigation” is nice for everyone that has to listen throught the entire menu before getting to the content, and for anyone who use handheld device (like cellphones) so they don’t need to ‘arrowing’ to much. If you have a three column, you probably need to add several.

Re hidden “skip navigation” link: I’ve seen that one before. I haven’t made up my mind yet which way to go.

Do you have a link to any of these 3-column liquid layouts?

And for the screen reader issue; – There’s always the possibility to add a ‘hidden’ link saying “skip to navigation”.
